Has anybody found any merit in extravagant, profligate and glitzy living?
Such dangerous living would jeopardize the physical life , further the return of enjoyment on such investment would be so meagre that it makes the whole venture worthless.
Dissipation can also mean a life of indulgence, in which health and wealth are squandered in the pursuit of pleasure. If someone throws money at wine and women, that is a life of dissipation in general parlance.
However it is a good call for everyone to reflect despite the strata of life.
Dissipation also refers to wasteful or thoughtless spending or activity. The habit of taking old clothes and appliances to the dump instead of donating them to charities, is a kind of dissipation.
The satisfaction of having done a good deed makes us feel good.
